What does the CleverShuttle Product & Tech team stand for?
We are an international and interdisciplinary team of software engineers, product managers, QA engineers and agile coaches. CleverShuttle is first and foremost a tech company - our proprietary operating software for driver-based and autonomous ridepooling is essential for operations.
What sets the Product & Tech team at CleverShuttle apart from other Product & Tech teams?
We believe that ridepooling makes an important contribution to fight climate change. It also makes it easier for everyone to access high-quality and affordable public transportation. Autonomy, responsibility and trust play a key role in our team. We treat each other respectfully and openly, demonstrate a strong feedback culture and, of course, we have fun together. We organize ourselves with the help of quarterly OKRs and foster a work environment where we don't ask for permission, but take direct responsibility.
Every improvement that our team implements has a direct impact on the daily work of our drivers and dispatchers. We know that we can only make a long-term difference if the processes in the background run smoothly.
What tools and applications does our tech team work with?
- Our state-of-the-art technology stack is based on AWS services such as ECR, ECS, SQS/SNS and Lambda.
- We build our backend microservices in Java 17 and Kotlin.
- The front-end applications are based on Javascript and Typescript and use React, React Native, and Vue.
- The data engineering team is currently using AWS Glue & Step Functions, we are also planning to migrate from a Postgres RDS DWH to a data lake architecture based on either Redshift, Athena or Snowflake.
